Bob Knight Disrespects John Calipari

Last night at the Hall of Fame dinner, legendary coach Bob Knight took a nice little jab at Kentucky coach John Calipari. Knight started out pleasant for the most part, telling old stories and entertaining the audience.

At the end Knight criticized some issues within the NCAA starting with the purposed idea to expand the tournament to 96 teams, saying "No team deserves a bye". I agree with that 100%, the tournament is a rare gem in sports that is perfect as is.

Knight then urged the governing body's administration to require tournament teams to submit eligibility reports, an effort to assure that players who are competing in postseason games have been attending classes and earning acceptable grades.

"We've gotten into this situation where integrity is really lacking and that's why I'm glad I'm not coaching," he said. "You see we've got a coach at Kentucky (John Calipari), who put two schools on probation and he's still coaching. I really don't understand that.

Nice little shot at Calipari there, who got in trouble both at Massachusetts and Memphis. I fuck with Knight really hard so I'm gonna have to get his back on this one.
